Your Role with Us
You’ll have overall responsibility for the front desk, lead a small, motivated team, and help shape the structures, standards, and processes for the reopening. As an operational manager, you and your team will ensure a warm, professional first and last impression.
Your Responsibilities
- Leading, motivating, and scheduling the front desk team, as well as organizing a smooth daily workflow and ensuring reliable shift handoffs.
- Ensuring check-in and check-out, providing comprehensive guest information, and offering personalized assistance with questions, requests, feedback, and complaints.
- Responsibility for cash management, invoicing, guest accounts, written and telephone correspondence, as well as accurate bookings and settlements.
- Ensuring quality and service standards and maintaining close communication with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Facilities, Reservations, and Management.
- Supporting or standing in for the Reservations team with booking inquiries, quotes, and reservations.
What You Bring to the Table
- Completed training in the hospitality industry or a comparable qualification, as well as several years of front-office experience, ideally in the upscale 4- or 5-star hotel sector.
- Management experience is a plus; more important are strong leadership qualities, a sense of responsibility, and a passion for developing a team.
- Strong hospitality skills, a strong focus on service and quality, and a structured, reliable, and solution-oriented approach to work—even during peak periods.
- A confident, friendly demeanor, clear communication, and a keen sense of the needs of families and children.
- Very good German and good English skills; additional languages are a plus.
- You’ll be expected to work weekends and holidays.
