At the Gorfion Family Hotel in Malbun, you’ll be responsible for all hotel and building systems—from heating, ventilation, and electrical systems to the wellness and pool facilities, as well as the outdoor areas. We’re offering a full-time (100%) position, 42.5 hours per week, with a start date to be agreed upon.

Your Role with Us
You’ll ensure the technically sound and safe operation of the hotel, lead the technical team, and continuously improve maintenance, energy usage, and technical processes.
Your Responsibilities
- Planning, managing, and overseeing maintenance in the areas of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, refrigeration, electrical systems, and building services.
- Operating and monitoring the wellness and pool facilities, including water treatment, hygiene, and documentation. Benefit: Swimming pool water disinfection course, including certification
- Leadership, scheduling, and development of the technical team, as well as organization of the on-call service.
- Coordinating external service providers: soliciting bids, overseeing and accepting work, and verifying invoices.
- Ensuring fire safety, occupational safety, drinking water hygiene, periodic inspections, maintenance schedules, and technical documentation.
- Energy management, consumption monitoring, and planning and oversight of renovations and investments, including budget and schedule control.
- Prompt, discreet, and guest-oriented handling of technical issues.
What You Bring to the Table
- Completed basic technical training, such as in electrical, plumbing, heating, refrigeration, or metalwork; further training in facility management, as a building manager with a federal certificate, or as a technician (HF) is a plus.
- Several years of experience in building or hotel services, as well as in-depth knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and building automation; experience with pool and water systems is a plus.
- Experience leading a small team and knowledge of fire safety and occupational safety regulations.
- An independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, a hands-on mentality, and a business-minded mindset.
- Very good command of German; English and other languages are a plus.
- Willingness to work on-call shifts and occasional weekend assignments, as well as a Category B driver’s license.
- A professional demeanor and discretion when interacting with our guests.
