Following a comprehensive renovation, we’re reopening our 4-star superior hotel for the 2026 winter season and are seeking a dedicated, experienced manager for our Berg1600 SPA.
Your Role with Us
You’ll have overall responsibility for the spa and wellness area and ensure a peaceful, well-maintained, and high-quality atmosphere. Together with the management team, you’ll shape workflows, offerings, quality standards, and service processes, and help define the positioning of the Berg1600 SPA.
Your Responsibilities
- Organizing daily spa operations, including treatments, room scheduling, and staff scheduling, as well as leading, motivating, and training the spa team.
- Providing personalized and expert advice on massages, beauty treatments, wellness offerings, and products; depending on your qualifications, you will also perform treatments yourself.
- Actively selling treatments, products, day-spa offerings, and packages, as well as developing promotional packages and seasonal programs in collaboration with management and marketing.
- Responsibility for the spa shop: product selection and presentation, guest service, inventory control, reordering, and cost-effective management of the product range.
- Monitoring current trends and continuously improving the service offering while taking into account occupancy rates, guest satisfaction, sales figures, and profitability.
- Close collaboration with the front desk, reservations, housekeeping, facilities management, marketing, food & beverage, and management to ensure a reliable flow of information and professionally organized spa stays.
- Compliance with all hygiene, safety, and quality standards, as well as monitoring cleanliness, orderliness, proper product use and storage, and legal requirements.
What You Bring to the Table
- Completed training in massage, cosmetology, wellness, or a comparable field, as well as several years of professional experience, ideally in the upscale 4- or 5-star hotel industry.
- Initial leadership experience is a plus; key qualities include a willingness to take on responsibility, strong organizational skills, and the desire to successfully lead and develop a team.
- A strong focus on service and quality, a warm and well-groomed demeanor, and a confident presence.
- A structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work, entrepreneurial thinking, and sales skills; you remain calm and professional even in hectic situations.
- Good command of German; English and other languages are a plus. You’re willing to work weekends and holidays.
