We want to run a hotel that’s good for families and protects the mountain world we live in. That’s why we pay attention to energy, materials, mobility and many small processes that make everyday life easier and more resource-friendly.

Our family hotel is set in a unique natural environment, and when it comes to sustainability we’re doing everything that’s possible for us today. So that tomorrow will be even greener. Gorfion should remain a place families love to come back to. Not just next year, but in the next generation too.

The Gorfion stands in an unspoilt high valley. This location is a gift, so we treat it with care. We save energy, avoid waste and make decisions that are good for nature and give families a good feeling.

For both the current refurbishment and daily operations, we consistently make sure to use raw materials that are good for people – and therefore for nature too.

Gorfion spa bag: durable, versatile, made predominantly from recycled materials by a regional Swiss supplier
